End suction pumps for centrifugal water handling

End suction pumps are centrifugal pumps used in industrial pump systems, water circulation pumps, process water pumps and commercial water pumps. They support fluid transfer equipment and water handling pumps where a centrifugal design is required for moving water through pipework, plant or technical installations.

Connection types, pressure ratings and electrical supply

Connection details include female thread and DIN flange options. Female thread configurations include 1 inch, 1 1/4 x 1 inch, 2 x 1 1/4 inch and DN40 x 1 1/2 inch examples. DIN flange configurations include DN50 and DN50 x DN95 options. Match the pump connection with existing pipework, pump installation components and any adjacent fittings before ordering.

Selecting end suction centrifugal pumps

Select end suction centrifugal pumps by working from the installation requirements first. Confirm the required material, connection type, stated pressure rating and electrical supply. Then compare pump dimensions and connection format with the existing system to avoid mismatch at the pipework interface.

For threaded installations, check whether the required pump uses female thread connections and whether the inlet and outlet dimensions match the surrounding pipework. For flanged installations, confirm the DIN flange connection and DN size. Material choice should also be considered alongside the application. Cast iron, stainless steel 304 and PP are distinct pump construction options, and each should be matched to the operating environment and system requirements.
