Do I have to regulate drip zones?

Drip zones require regulation since their working pressure is lower than that of any other system type. Hunter offers a 25 PSI and a 40 PSI version for pressure regulation. Any form of system that is not pressure compensating, point source using individual emitters, or utilising small supply tubing is suitable for the 25 PSI. The Hunter PLD inline emitter tubing is a pressure compensating system that the 40 PSI system is intended for. Pressure delivered between 15 and 50 PSI is compensated for by PLD emitters. By lowering the pressure to a level the emitters can take, the 40 PSI regulator ensures long-term performance.

What should I do when my MP rotator is not covering the distance?

The incoming pressure determines the MP Rotator's coverage radius. Check the incoming water pressure at the sprinkler head if you are not getting the desired coverage. To maintain 30 psi (2.07 bars/206.84 KPa) at the MP Rotator nozzle for tight radius options, use the Pro Spray PRS30 (PROS-PRS30). To maintain 40 psi (2.76 bars/275.8 KPa) at the MP Rotator nozzle and for optimum performance and range, use the Pro Spray PRS40 (PROS-PRS40).

Why does my sprinkler leak water but the system is turned off?

When the lowest head on a zone permits water to flow from the lateral pipework and out of the sprinkler, this is known as "low head drainage." If the system has a low head drainage, any remaining water will stop flowing until it has completely exited the pipe. Water escaping through the zone valve could be the secondary cause (a check valve in the sprinkler will not fix this leak). Debris blocking the valve's diaphragm is the most frequent cause of water leaks through valves.

How do I adjust the arc on my Hunter rotor?

Your rotor can be adjusted in two ways: the arc and the radius. The arc adjustment is in charge of changing the rotational pattern the head will cover. The factory setting and minimum arc on a Hunter rotor is 40 degrees (50 degrees for PGP-Ultra and I-20), and the maximum is a full 360 degrees. Using a Hunter adjustment wrench is the simplest way to make adjustments to your Hunter rotor. This tool is available at Bosta.
