What is redox / ORP?

Redox or ORP is a cheaper method of measuring the sanitiser level, an alternative to monitoring the free chlorine level. 

Redox or ORP stands for Oxidation-Reduction-Potential. This is a measure of how effective the sanitiser can perform or oxidise germs and bacteria. ORP is measured in MV (millivolts). The higher the reading the greater the potential to run between a range of 650 – 850 mv.
