What PPWR changes
A single, harmonised rulebook for packaging across the EU
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation replaces the old EU packaging directive with a regulation that applies directly in every member state. It covers how much packaging may be used, what materials and recycled content are required, how packaging must be labelled, and when packaging must be designed to be reused rather than discarded.
For a technical wholesaler shipping sales and transport packaging across Scandinavia and the wider EU, that means every packaging format we use has to be checked, article by article, against the regulation and documented so our customers can rely on it too.
