Aluminium camlock couplers for hose and threaded connections

Aluminium camlock couplers are quick coupling components for hose and threaded pipework assemblies. They are used where compatible Camlock parts need to be connected, disconnected or capped in industrial liquid transfer and general fluid handling installations. Product options cover Camlock A, B, C, D, E, F, DC and DP, with DSP couplers also available in aluminium.

Camlock hose couplings aluminium are typically selected by Camlock type, connection format and size. The options include male and female Camlock parts, hose tails, male threads, female threads, caps and plugs. Several quick coupler aluminium products are marked 16 bar, while variant counts indicate multiple sizes across the main Camlock types.

Camlock types and connection options

Match the coupling type to the required male or female Camlock part and to the connection on the hose or pipework. A Camlock B aluminium quick coupler combines a female Camlock part with a male thread. A Camlock A option combines a male Camlock part with a female thread, while Camlock D combines a female Camlock part with a female thread.

For hose assemblies, hose tail versions are available in both female and male Camlock formats. A Camlock C aluminium quick coupler uses a female Camlock part with a hose tail, while Camlock E uses a male Camlock part with a hose tail. For threaded pipework, Camlock F combines a male Camlock part with a male thread.

Caps, plugs, sockets and nipples

Closing and end-connection parts are also part of the aluminium camlock fittings group. Camlock DC is identified as a quick coupler cap with a female Camlock part, while Camlock DP is identified as a male Camlock part. These components help complete a compatible coupling arrangement when an open Camlock end needs to be closed or matched with the correct counterpart.

Sockets & nipples are related camlock coupling accessories for building or replacing compatible coupling sets. Select sockets, nipples, caps and plugs by matching the Camlock type, connection format and size to the existing assembly.

DSP aluminium quick couplers

DSP quick couplers are available as aluminium products with hose tail, female thread or male thread connections. Product options include DSP with locking ring and DSP without locking ring. The DSP sizes include DN40 and DN45, with threaded versions also displaying inch connection sizes. Check whether the installation requires a locking ring before selecting a DSP coupling.

Selecting aluminium camlock fittings correctly

Start with the connection that must be joined: hose tail, male thread or female thread. Then match the Camlock side as either male or female. Aluminium quick couplers with hose tails are suited to hose assemblies, while threaded Camlock adapters aluminium are selected for pipework or equipment with matching threads.

Size matching is essential. Variant counts show multiple sizes across Camlock A, B, C, D, E, F, DC and DP options, and DSP couplers show DN sizes and thread sizes in the product names. Compare the stated size with the existing hose, threaded connection or mating Camlock component before ordering.

Where a pressure value is required, check the individual product data.

Related aluminium camlock coupler options

For a female Camlock part with a male thread, consider type Camlock B. For a male Camlock part with a female thread, type Camlock A provides the corresponding format. For hose tail connections, compare Camlock C and Camlock E according to whether the required Camlock side is female or male.

Industrial aluminium camlock couplers should be chosen as a complete connection system rather than as isolated parts. Check the Camlock type, male or female coupling side, thread or hose tail format, size, pressure marking where shown and any DSP locking ring requirement to avoid mismatched components.
