Individual models differ in female-thread connection size, current, voltage and cooling configuration, so these details must correspond with the intended borehole installation and electrical supply.
Centrifugal irrigation pumps provide another agricultural water pump format. Cast iron models are available with DIN flange connections and different variants. Tractor pumps form a separate option for installations requiring tractor-driven irrigation pumps. Pump configuration and connection details should be matched to the wider pipework rather than treated as interchangeable.
Irrigation pressure sets and pressure tanks
Irrigation pressure sets are available in cast iron, technopolymer, PP and stainless steel 304 configurations. Models include female-threaded connections and 230 VAC electrical supplies, with different current values and stated pressure ratings. Horizontal pressure-set configurations are also available. Select a pressure set by checking its electrical details, connection dimensions, material and pressure rating against the irrigation water pressure system.
Agricultural pressure tanks use steel membrane designs and are available in vertical and horizontal orientations. Individual tanks have different capacities, male-thread connection sizes and pressure ratings, including models identified at 8 or 10 bar. These pump pressure vessels should be selected by confirming the required capacity, orientation, connection and stated rating. Replacement EPDM tank membranes are available in several variants for associated maintenance requirements.
Irrigation pump control and water-level components
Irrigation pump control equipment includes pressure switches, a male-threaded pressure controller and double-acting float switches. Pressure switches differ by stated operating pressure, current, voltage and female-thread connection. The pressure controller is identified with a cable and connector, while float switches are available with different cable configurations.
Irrigation float valves include brass models with male-threaded connections, including slide-bar types. HDPE float balls are available for compatible valve arrangements, with specific versions intended for slide bars. Match the valve thread, float-ball connection and operating pressure stated for the selected components. Compatibility should be confirmed rather than assuming that every float ball and valve can be combined.
Connections, electrical supply and accessories
Connection formats vary across the agricultural water pumps and associated equipment. Female-threaded pump and pressure-set connections, male-threaded float valves and pressure controllers, and DIN flange centrifugal pumps are represented. Thread or flange dimensions must align with the existing pipework and any required adaptors.
Electrical values also vary. Pump control equipment and many pumps use 230 VAC, while a 400 VAC submersible pump and centrifugal pump variants are also available. Check voltage and current values before installation, together with the connection type and stated pressure rating. Electrical equipment should not be selected solely by physical connection size.
