Italian type galvanised steel couplers for water and slurry connections
Italian type galvanised steel couplers are quick coupling parts for heavy water and slurry installations where Italian pattern steel couplings are required. Where an installation needs additional pipe connector accessories, sockets, bushes, nipples and branch connectors can be combined with the main couplers and adaptors. Select these parts by confirming the Italian type connection, stated size and required connection format before combining them with galvanised Italian hose connectors or steel pipeline connectors.
Selection checks for Italian coupling assemblies
Match the male or female Italian part first, then confirm the opposite end connection: male thread, hose tail, square flange, nozzle, cap or plug. Check the stated dimensions, such as 100 mm, 120 mm or 150 mm, against the hose, pipework or equipment connection. For steel Italian locking couplers, ensure the clamp ring and any closing part use the same Italian coupling pattern.
Spreader nozzles and exact distributors are also galvanised steel Italian-type components. Use them only where the installation requires a nozzle or distributor connection, and match the male or female Italian part to the rest of the assembly. Correct pairing reduces the risk of selecting a part with the wrong coupling end, thread, hose tail or flange.
