Brass quick couplers for hose and pipework connections

Quick couplers brass provide a removable coupling format for hose assemblies, threaded connections and matching coupling parts. Typical product types include brass quick coupler fittings with hose tail, male thread, female thread and compression connections, as well as sockets, Y-pieces, caps, plugs, nuts and replacement seals. These industrial brass couplers are selected by matching the coupling format, connection size, pressure rating and counterpart fitting.

Brass hose quick couplers are available with different pressure ratings, including 10 bar, 12 bar and 25 bar options. Use these markings as selection details when they are required for the installation or when replacing existing coupling components.

Connection formats and coupling types

Hose tail, threaded and compression couplers

Brass hose connectors with hose tail connections come in 13 mm, 19 mm and 25 mm variants. Threaded brass quick couplings are available with male thread, female thread and long female thread formats, including visible thread sizes such as 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 1/4 inch. Compression couplers are also available, including 12-15 mm compression variants.

Swivel type couplers are available in both hose tail and male thread formats. A suction and pressure coupler with hose tail and locknut is also present among the brass coupling options. When selecting between these formats, check whether the existing assembly requires a fixed connection, a swivel type or a locknut type.

Sockets, Y-pieces, plugs, caps and nuts

Choose brass quick coupler sockets when the matching coupling side requires a socket component. Sockets should be matched with the correct plug, cap or connection type, rather than selected by material alone.

Brass quick coupler Y-pieces are available for splitting or combining quick coupler connections, including versions with quick coupler outlets and male thread combinations. Select the Y-piece format by checking each branch connection against the connected hose or fitting.

Plugs, caps and nuts support completion, closure or assembly of compatible quick coupling sets. End caps and quick coupler caps are present, including brass options with stated pressure ratings. These parts should be checked against the coupler type and pressure rating used in the assembly.

Pressure ratings, material markings and seals

Pressure rating is an important selection cue for brass quick coupler fittings. Coupler are available in 10 bar, 12 bar and 25 bar ratings. Do not select a coupler solely by connection size; match the pressure rating with the system requirement and with the rating of the connected coupling parts.

Sealing components include NBR rubber seals, Perbunan rubber seals and flat seals described as rubber reinforced with nylon. Replacement seals and brass quick coupler accessories should be selected by matching the coupler type, seal size and material description shown for the relevant product.

Practical selection checks before ordering

Match the connection before comparing variants

Start by identifying whether the assembly uses a hose tail, male thread, female thread, long female thread, compression connection, socket, plug, cap or Y-piece. Then compare the visible size information, such as hose tail diameter, threaded size or compression size. Brass quick coupler fittings with similar appearances can serve different connection roles, so the coupling side and attachment side should both be checked.

Check pressure rating and counterpart compatibility

Quick coupler caps, sockets, Y-pieces and hose tail couplers should be selected as compatible parts of the same coupling arrangement. A 12 bar Y-piece, for example, should be paired with suitable counterpart couplers and seals. Where CD-40 appears in the product title, confirm that the existing coupling components use the same designation.

For maintenance, replacement or assembly work, compare brass coupling accessories and seals at the same time as the main coupler. A correct seal helps the coupler function as intended, while a mismatched plug, cap or socket can prevent the coupling from fitting correctly. Selecting by connection type, pressure rating and seal compatibility gives a clearer route to the right brass quick coupler.
