Pressure gauges and thermometers for process measurement

Pressure gauges, industrial pressure gauges and thermometers provide pressure and temperature readings for measurement, regulation and dosing installations. These process measurement devices cover analogue pressure gauges, dial thermometers and gauge accessories for connecting or adapting measuring points.

Available pressure monitoring equipment includes dry pressure gauges, glycerine-filled pressure gauges, male-thread and female-thread gauges, plus a polyamide push-in pressure gauge. Thermometer options include a 63 mm male-thread model. Select each instrument by matching the required reading type, connection format and mounting position with the existing installation.

Dry and glycerine-filled pressure gauges

Dry pressure gauges are available as analogue pressure gauges with male thread, female thread and different connection positions. Options include bottom connection, back connection, extended back connection and side connection versions, depending on the specific gauge.

Glycerine-filled pressure gauges are also available with threaded connections and different pressure scales. Select a glycerine-filled type when that construction is specified for the measuring point, and check the connection position before ordering.

Dial diameters across pressure gauge options include 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm. Pressure scales include options such as 0-0.6 bar, 0-2.5 bar, 0-4 bar, 0-6 bar, 0-10 bar and 0-16 bar where specified. Match the pressure scale to the operating requirement of the system and leave selection to the exact product data when a defined scale is required.

Connection types, threads and mounting positions

Connection type is a key selection point for industrial measuring equipment. Pressure gauges are available with male thread and female thread versions, and selected gauges use a push-in connection. Thread sizes stated in product options include 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2. The correct connection must match the measuring point, adaptor or existing pipework connection.

Mounting position also affects selection. Bottom connection gauges suit measuring points where the connection sits below the dial, while back, extended back and side connection versions support different installation layouts. Check the available space around the dial and the orientation required for clear reading before selecting a gauge.

Thermometers and gauge accessories

Thermometers support temperature measurement where a dedicated temperature reading is required. A 63 mm thermometer with 1/2 male thread is available, making connection size and mounting position important checks before selection.

Pressure gauge and thermometer accessories include brass reducer bushes and pressure gauge valves. Accessory choices include male thread x female thread formats, with stated options such as a brass reducer bush rated at 40 bar and a brass pressure gauge valve rated at 2.5 bar. Use accessories only where their thread format and stated rating match the installation requirement.

Practical selection checks

Pressure and temperature gauges should be selected by reading type, dial size, scale, connection thread and connection position. For pressure measurement instruments, compare dry and glycerine-filled types only after confirming the pressure scale and connection arrangement. For temperature measurement devices, check the thermometer connection size and the required installation point.

Gauge accessories should be checked alongside the instrument, not after it has been selected. A reducer bush may be required when the thread sizes differ, while a pressure gauge valve must match the male x female thread format stated for the connection. Confirm all dimensions and pressure information from the individual product details before installation.
