Pump pressure tanks and control accessories

Pump pressure tanks, pressure vessels for pumps and pressure control components are used with water pump systems where pressure management, switching and compatible replacement parts are required. Product options cover complete pump accessory systems as well as individual pump system components, including membrane pressure tanks, pressure switches, pressure controllers, tank membranes, flanges, motor protection switches, inverters and water hammer arrestors.

Choose pump pressure tanks and related pressure regulation equipment by checking the tank construction, orientation, pressure rating, connection type and the electrical data of any controller or switch. Matching these details with the existing pump installation helps keep the selected component suitable for the intended pump set-up.

Pressure tanks and pressure vessels for pumps

Membrane pressure tanks and pressure vessels are available in horizontal and vertical versions. Tank constructions shown across the products include steel with powder coating, stainless steel 304 and polyester. Pressure ratings shown include 8 bar, 8.5 bar and 10 bar on pressure tank variants, with male and female threaded connection options depending on the model.

Tank volume is another key selection point. Products include compact tanks such as 8 litre, 20 litre and 24 litre versions, as well as larger vessels such as 50 litre, 60 litre, 100 litre, 300 litre and 500 litre variants. For pump accumulator and pressure vessel requirements, compare the relevant pump accumulator and pressure vessel options by volume, pressure rating, tank orientation and thread connection.

Pressure controllers, flow controllers and switches

Pump pressure controllers and pump flow controllers are water supply control units used with compatible pump systems. Options include pressure controllers with male thread and male x female thread connections, with 230 VAC or 115-230 VAC ratings shown on selected products. Some controller variants are supplied with cable details in the product information, while others are specified without cable.

Pressure switches provide another route for water pressure control systems. Product options include 1/4 female thread and 1/2 female thread variants, with ratings such as 16 A at 230 VAC, 25 A at 230-400 VAC and adjustable pressure data shown on selected switch types. Motor protection switches and pressure switch variants with thermal overload relay are also available for pump installation accessories where the electrical specification matches the system requirement. For automatic pressure controllers and flow control units, compare pressure and flow pump controller products by connection, voltage, current rating and controller type.

Tank membranes, flanges and hydraulic pressure accessories

Replacement pressure tank accessories include EPDM tank membranes, universal membranes and reinforced rubber membranes with nylon. These components are selected by matching the membrane type and tank volume reference with the existing pressure vessel. Tank flanges are also available, including galvanised steel flange options with male thread connections.

Water hammer arrestors form part of the wider water pressure management equipment group. A stainless steel 304L water hammer arrestor with WRAS reference, 20 bar rating and male thread connection is shown among the hydraulic pressure accessories. Selected membrane pressure tanks also carry WRAS references in their product titles, so check the individual item data where that requirement is important for the installation.

Selecting compatible pump system components

Start with the pump system function. A pressure vessel or pump expansion vessel is selected differently from a controller, switch, membrane or flange. For tanks, check the volume, horizontal or vertical type, material, pressure rating and male or female thread connection. For controllers and switches, check the thread size, connection arrangement, voltage, current rating and any stated pressure range.

Replacement parts should be matched to the existing tank or pump accessory system rather than selected by appearance alone. EPDM membranes, reinforced rubber membranes, stainless steel tanks, polyester tanks and steel powder coated pressure vessels have different product descriptions, so compatibility should be checked against the original tank volume, connection and component type before ordering.
