Camlock couplers PP for hose and threaded connections

Camlock couplers PP are polypropylene quick couplers used to connect compatible Camlock hose assemblies and threaded pipework. PP camlock fittings cover male and female parts with hose tail, male thread and female thread connections, plus caps for closing Camlock connections. Black polypropylene versions are available where plastic camlock couplers are required for suitable liquid transfer assemblies.

Camlock hose couplings polypropylene are selected by matching the coupling half to the mating connection. A female Camlock part must be paired with a compatible male Camlock part, while the secondary connection must match the hose tail or thread used in the installation. This makes the Camlock type, connection format, size and pressure rating important selection points before ordering.

PP quick coupler types and connection formats

Common PP quick coupler formats include Camlock A, B, C, D, E and F types. Type A combines a male Camlock part with a female thread, while Type F combines a male Camlock part with a male thread. Type B uses a female Camlock part with a male thread, and Type D uses a female Camlock part with a female thread. For hose assemblies, Type C provides a female Camlock part with a hose tail, while Type E provides a male Camlock part with a hose tail.

For threaded connections, products such as the Quick coupler PP male part Camlock x female thread type Camlock A and the Type F male thread version support different thread orientations. For hose tail connections, the Quick coupler PP female part Camlock x hose tail type Camlock C provides a female Camlock half with a hose tail connection.

Caps, sockets and nipples

Camlock coupling accessories also include PP caps and male Camlock parts without a hose tail or thread. Type DC is identified as a quick coupler cap with a female Camlock part, while Type DP is identified as a male Camlock part. These components are used when a Camlock connection needs a matching closing or mating component rather than a hose tail or threaded adaptor.

For grouped socket and nipple products, sockets & nipples provide a focused route into PP Camlock components. Select sockets, nipples and caps by confirming the required Camlock type and whether the connection must be male, female, threaded, hose tail or capped.

Size and pressure rating checks

Several product families have multiple variants, with examples including 1 inch, 2 inch, 1 x 25 mm and 1 1/2 x 38 mm configurations. Pressure ratings such as 6 bar and 7.5 bar are available on individual PP camlock fittings. Check the product variant carefully so the size, connection type and stated pressure rating match the existing hose, pipework or Camlock assembly.

Hose camlock connectors PP should be selected with attention to the hose tail diameter where a hose connection is required. Threaded plastic camlock adaptors should be matched to the required male or female thread format. When replacing an existing component, compare the Camlock type code and the connection side before selecting a replacement.

Choosing compatible polypropylene Camlock components

Polypropylene camlock couplers are practical where plastic quick couplers are specified and the installation already uses compatible Camlock connections. The most reliable selection process is to identify the mating Camlock half first, then confirm the secondary connection. A Type C female part with hose tail will not serve the same role as a Type D female part with female thread, even though both use a female Camlock part.

Caps such as the Quick coupler cap PP female part Camlock type Camlock DC should be checked against the size and pressure rating of the Camlock assembly. For male Camlock components, the Quick coupler PP male part Camlock type Camlock DP provides a separate PP Camlock option without a hose tail or threaded connection in the product title.
